Public relations is a powerful tool that can be used to further a worthy cause. Rosswood Communications is committed to leverage the power of public relations to build community and create a more sustainable environment. We devote over 200 hours per year volunteering for non-profit organizations in Northern California.

The Bay
Area Veg Fair is Northern California's largest vegetarian food event.
Rosswood Communications wrote the press materials and strategic communications
plan to launch the premier Bay Area Veg Fair. With extensive local radio,
television and newspaper coverage, the event attracted double the number
of expected attendees, and established the Bay Area Veg Fair as an annual
event. |

The Yuba-Feature Museum is dedicated
to preserving the heritage of the gold mining pioneers in the West. Rosswood
Communications worked with the museum's Public Relations manager to develop
a plan that greatly increased television, newspaper, and radio coverage.
As a result, the attendance at the museum's annual major event jumped
from 250 to 2,000 and the season's weekend attendance increased an average
of 15 times |

The International Association of Business Communicators
is the premier international knowledge network for professionals engaged
in strategic business communication management. Rosswood's founder Ronald
Schmidt currently sits on the board of the Silicon Valley chapter, serving
as Vice President of Finance.

The Northern California Chapter of Meeting Professionals International sponsors an annual fundraising event called Community Heart, Hand and Hope – The Tastes, Sounds and Spirits of Northern California. Rosswood worked with the organizing committee on a plan to promote the 2004 event.
